I offer lessons for all levels, from beginners to advanced students, tailored to your goals. Lessons focused solely on music theory are also available, and I can teach all instruments, including vocals. In addition, I provide ensemble instruction (with 20 years of teaching experience) and can serve as an instructor for school club activities, extracurricular programs, or international school classes. As an active international school instructor, I ensure a reliable and professional learning experience.

Instructor Introduction – Yusuke Ishihara
I studied jazz at Berklee College of Music and classical music at Toho Gakuen School of Music. In recent years, I have gained extensive experience performing in a variety of genres, including pop. I welcome students who wish to study both jazz and classical music, those who want to focus on jazz and music theory with the electric bass, as well as those interested in music theory alone. Lessons are available for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced players.
You can choose lessons based on your goals and interests.
Music theory lessons are also available for all instruments, including vocals.
Ensemble coaching is also offered.
Lessons are available in English. Please feel free to ask if you prefer to take lessons in English.

【Double Bass】
Materials: Simandl Book 1, Hiyama Notes, and original materials
Contents:
Basic positions and fingerings using Simandl Book 1 or Hiyama Notes
Learning jazz fundamentals with original materials
After studying theory, learn how to construct walking bass lines and improvisations through jazz standards

◆ Lesson Information
You can take lessons as often as you like (even one-time lessons are welcome)
Lesson duration: 60 minutes (schedule by appointment)
Trial lesson: ¥3,000

Regular lessons:
・Once a month: ¥6,000 per month
・Twice a month: ¥12,000 per month
Music theory lessons: ¥5,000 / 60 minutes
